Rajiv is a General Dental Council registered specialist in Periodontics. He graduated from the University of Bristol in 2004. Following periods working as a Senior House Officer in Dental Public Health, Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry, he gained the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Soon after this, he embarked upon four years of specialist training in the field of Periodontics at Guy’s Hospital which includes extensive training and experience within the field of dental implantology. As part of his specialist training, he also completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Periodontics at Kings College, London whilst also attaining the Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. This training enables him to offer a range of treatments to manage periodontal diseases, with an understanding of the complex restorative problems such patients may have.
As well as working in specialist practice, Rajiv also teaches other dentists at the Eastman CPD centre. He has lectured nationally and is a member of the British Society of Periodontology’s Faculty. Membership of the Faculty is a mark of esteem within the UK periodontal community. Its aim is to provide an expert group of educators who are formally recognised as capable of delivering high quality, evidence-based educational lectures and seminars in periodontology and implant dentistry.
